Saved a Notepad file one second before a crash; the file has never been located. Administrative clarity arrived after usefulness had departed.
Blue screen fills the void, Hard crash in the final hour, Winona remains. Nothing was resolved. The record now looks official.
Rebooted mid-conversation with a Council auditor; reboot took seventeen minutes; she maintained eye contact throughout. The form remained intact. The situation did not.
