404Sy McLostalot

Old 404Sy got lost in a loop
And blamed it on mushroom soup.
He followed a link
That went straight down the sink
And came out in some other group.

She said, “Click here to find what you need,”
But the path had been planted with weed.
The anchor was bare,
The href pointed nowhere,
And her breadcrumbs had gone off to seed.

A mascot who lives in the void
Got lonely, frustrated, annoyed.
He’d hump every link
That arrived on the brink
Of a route that the sitemap destroyed.

404Sy once wandered so deep
Through archives no crawler would keep.
He found a bare page,
Lay down in a rage,
And rage-fucked the stylesheet to sleep.

She followed a path labeled “Home
And ended up stark naked in Rome.
The redirect lied,
The server denied,
And her session expired with a moan.

He mapped every dead-end with pride
And rode each 301 like a bride.
When the chain finally broke
He let out a croak
And resolved to the wrong bloody side.

A lost link walked into a bar.
404Sy said, “You’ve wandered too far.
They hooked up in cache,
Had a quick little thrash,
Then 301’d to the back of a car.

The sitemap said, “Trust me, I’m clean.
404Sy said, “Filthiest I’ve seen.
Every path was a tease,
Sending him to his knees,
In a redirect orgy obscene.

He whispered to broken navbars,
You’re gorgeous when covered in scars.”
They tangled in code,
Swapped anchor payloads,
And expired together like stars.

So if ever you’re lost and you grope
Through dead pages with no source of hope,
That’s 404Sy’s zone:
Where the lost get it on
With a map that was always a rope.

He unfolded a map in the dark,
And swore he could see a small spark.
But the paper was blank,
The coordinates sank,
And the compass just bit like a shark.

I left you a trail,404Sy lied,
While brushing the breadcrumbs aside.
He ate every link,
Poured the rest in the sink,
And laughed as the directory died.

A ghost in the stylesheet appeared,
With routing completely misgeared.
It pointed to hell,
Said, “It’s going quite well,”
And vanished before it cleared.

You asked for the server root, friend?
There is no beginning or end.
Just an infinite loop,
In 404Sy’s soup,
Where reality refuses to bend.

He waltzes through folders unseen,
A phantom upon the machine.
You click and you spin,
But you’re locked from within,
With nothing but static between.

404Sy searched deep in the void
For a page that had been destroyed.
The results came back blank,
He went to the bank,
Of a site that was dismantled and toyed.

So he wanders eternal and cursed,
Through arrays of the best and the worst.
Every click is a gamble,
Down a new navigation shamble,
With a thirst that can never be quenched.

The directory pointed to space,
And claimed it the optimal place.
The query went through,
The database grew,
But it routed the user to base.

The anchor was formally tossed.
The secondary endpoint was lost.
The router declined,
The session resigned,
And the failure was thoroughly glossed.

The sitemap was drawn in the dust,
And covered in centuries’ crust.
The URLs fled,
The server is dead,
And the crawler still honors the trust.

The link was predictably broken.
The error code quietly spoken.
The page didn’t load,
It folded the code,
And accepted the silence as token.

The sitemap is perfectly clear,
It routes every user right here.
The folder is blank,
The directory sank,
But the indexing logic is near.

ROUTING SUCCESS CONFIRMED

He wanders the servers of old,
Where the CSS files have gone cold.
A ghost of the web,
In the traffic’s slow ebb,
A legend the bandwidth had told.

The user clicked back on the link,
To step away from the dead brink.
The URL spun,
The loading was done,
And the browser just started to sink.

The routing protocol died,
When 404Sy stepped inside.
He issued a state
Of unroutable freight,
And the server just openly cried.

They say that the subfolder grew,
Where the CSS never shone through.
He mapped it by hand,
In a routerless land,
And the legacy server withdrew.

The anchor tag failed to align,
With the target defined in the line.
The fallback deployed,
To the unindexed void,
And the user session will resign.

A trailing slash dropped from the string,
Which alerted the principal wing.
The network was ceased,
The protocols leased,
For a URL missing a ring.

The redirect pointed away,
To a page that was built yesterday.
It didn’t load right,
We turned off the light,
And we called it a successful play.

The destination is perfectly sound,
And the optimal pathway was found.
The link goes to print,
With a sepia tint,
While the actual page runs aground.
