Annex Hush
The terrible truth is revealed,
In an annex completely concealed.
The Hush keeps it low,
So the public won’t know,
That the wound is incredibly unhealed.
We shoved all the grief in the back,
So the main text is totally slack.
The Hush tells you “shhh”,
While you sort through the swish,
Of the things that the company lacks.
It’s legally there if you look,
In the absolute back of the book.
The Hush does its job,
For the corporate mob,
And lets every executive off the hook.
The secondary document states,
That silence is clearing the gates.
The volume is low,
As the indices grow,
And the primary structure awaits.
We whispered the logs to the drive,
To keep the poor network alive.
The silence is loud,
And the router is proud,
That the users will barely survive.
The Hush has encrypted the sound,
And buried the noise in the ground.
We reference the beat,
Of the musical sheet,
While the physical server is bound.
We shoved all the warnings back here,
To finish the terrible year.
Don’t bother to read,
What the protocols need,
And the problems will just disappear.
The back of the archive is deep,
Where shadows and databases sleep.
A murmur is heard,
From a mystical word,
That the ancient administrators keep.
