Courier Rat

The Courier Rat delivered a memo
So recursive it looped like a demo

And the lore took a recursive punt.

His Satchel Inventory includes
An encrypted Crumb Cache for crude foods,
A broken-wheeze whistle,
A scrollcase epistle,
And sash polish with cursed citrus moods.

Quarterly scroll burnings he leads—
Symbolic, yet binding, like deeds.
Each memo incinerated,
Each form reinstated,
And the duct pilgrimage proceeds.

“A file too quiet is a memo
Undelivered,*” he’d squeak, like a stream-o
Of consciousness raw.
His ink-smudged tiny paw
Shuffled truth through the narrative demo.

The Vow-of-Non-Finality binds—
No message is ever “done” in his minds.
Revision is sacred,
Each recursion unmasquered,
And the narrative always unwinds.

The Courier Rat in the duct,
Found a logic-gate recently plucked.
With a rub of his sash,
He triggered a crash,

He chews through the stack,

And leaves the whole database shitty.

And wipes his ink-paw on a towel.
