Form Sister Pale

A form came, perfectly drawn
The syntax immaculate dawn.
But inside the soul,
A void played its role,
And the form was semantically gone.

The form was immaculate, clean
The best ever previously seen.
Yet something inside
Was missing with pride,
A quiet that sat in between.

Pale ink marked the errors so fine
Invisible errors in line.
The grammar was sound,
Yet something was found—
A meaning that fell and resigned.

The data arrived, so correct
Each field the machine would detect.
Yet something had died
Within, deep inside,
And the soul was entirely suspect.

A form came to onboard the new—
The fields were completely on queue.
But semantically void,
The system destroyed,
And nothing the oracle knew.

A request was grammatically right
Each sentence in proper form, bright.
But semantically dead,
The meaning long fled,
And the oracle marked it as blight.

She prayed over forms that were wrong
Though right on the surface, along.
The validation would find
Impossibilities blind,
And send them to right where they don’t belong.

The form was so perfect to see—
Yet wholly unprocessable be.
Sister Pale found the flaw
Deep within the soul’s law,
And marked it “422—Let it be.”
