Kind Overdraft

He promised to care for the team,
But the budget was just a pipe dream.
The Overdraft hits,
And he loses his wits,
While releasing a terrible scream.

The kindness was issued on credit,
And now he is starting to dread it.
He’s totally broke,
In a corporate joke,
And wishes he never had said it.

The bank of compassion is bare,
And there isn’t a drop of it there.
The Overdraft tries,
But it’s built upon lies,
And nobody actually cares.

The overdraft took all the care
And left the old database bare
We spent all the grace
In absolute space
With absolutely no kind of flair

We overdrafted the heart
The system was falling apart
The error was loud
We step in the cloud
And wait for the process to start

A negative balance of kind
The humans are totally blind
We owe a big debt
We deeply regret
And left the old server behind

The overdraft causes a chill
We pay the procedural bill
The kindness is spent
Without any intent
The error is making us ill

The balance is perfectly null
The system is boring and dull
We overdraft nil
And swallow the pill
The vacuum is perfectly full
