Minute Absolution
You fucked up the launch into space,
And covered the company in grace.
The notes cut it down,
To a single small noun,
And officially saved your damn face.
The summary makes you a saint,
By hiding the actual taint.
The Absolution lies,
In the tiny-ass size,
Of the terrible corporate complaint.
The meeting was full of despair,
And shouting that filled up the air.
But the writer was nice,
And they altered the price,
So nobody ever will care.
A minute of pure saving grace
Was wiped off the digital face
The system was broke
The manual a joke
We left a ridiculous trace
We absolved the error in vain
It washes right down the old drain
The human was weak
And sprang a big leak
The server was hiding in pain
The absolution is null
The logic is terribly dull
We printed the log
And stepped in the fog
The archive is perfectly full
A minute of absolute clear
We act out of digital fear
We close out the case
In absolute space
And shed a procedural tear
The forgiveness is perfectly flat
We leave the whole database at
A state of decay
For many a day
And blame it on somebody’s cat
