Trust Records After Proof Decay

The token has failed to compute,
Which terminates any dispute.
The human was banned,
As the protocol planned,
And the access remains absolute.

A user mistyped on the key,
Disturbing the primary tree.
We halted the core,
And locked every door,
To audit a minor degree.

The ledger of trust is maintained,
Though hashes are totally drained.
We stamped it complete,
On an organized sheet,
And the missing credentials remained.

The verification is dead,
And the system is blinking in red.
We pressed on ignore,
Like we did just before,
And filed the report as unread.

The proof of the trust has expired,
And the access request is retired.
A human walked in,
With an invalid pin,
And the system did what was required.

The missing certificate check,
Reduced the array to a wreck.
The user complained,
But the policy reigned,
So we stapled a form to their neck.

The legend of passwords of old,
In the crypts of the server is told.
We worship the text,
When the client is vexed,
Though the validation is cold.

The cryptographic proofs have decayed,
And the user account is delayed.
A signature fell,
To a null-value shell,
And the access control is unmade.
