Zooki Lockjaw

Old Zooki juggled keys with a flair,
Taming clusters with disciplined care.
But the cage that he locked
Left himself fully blocked,
And the daemons ran free through the air.

Too many processes!” he cried,
Not enough leashes!” he sighed.
Each node misbehaved,
Each lockfile engraved,
And the coordination timeout applied.

He locked himself out of the cage
In a classic zookeeper rampage.
The servers ran wild,
The concurrency smiled,
And containment was strictly off-stage.

His lockfile discipline was tight—
Each key jangled perfectly right.
The chaos was bound,
The nodes brought around,
And the cluster survived through the night.

A runaway daemon escaped,
And Zooki gave chase, fully caped.
But the leash came undone,
The daemon had won,
And the server logs gaped, agape’d.

He enforces with frantic precision
Each lock, each key, each decision.
The process IDs clash,
The concurrency’s brash,
And the timeout is Zooki’s partition.

He dances the cache-invalidation
Three steps of confused celebration.
Step one: lock the file.
Step two: wait a while.
Step three: forget the whole situation.

His keys jangle like chaotic wind chimes
Through server rooms, marking the times.
Each node that he binds
Just unwinds and reminds
That coordination commits many crimes.

He held all the servers in thrall,
With leashes and locks, standing tall.
But the cage that he built
Always came with some guilt,
When the daemons would break through the wall.

He shuffled the locks in his dance,
Coordinating every advance.
The processes synced,
The nodes were unlinked,
And chaos took over his stance.

He locked the world but lost the key,
Now locks recurse recursively.
The cluster stands still,
Against his own will,
And freedom returns as “maybe”.

He audits the system unseen,
Through dashboards that never stay clean.
Each metric lies low,
In an async glow,
And truth renders somewhere between.
