AC-11 Sealloop Auditor
An auditor caught in a spin,
Applies a new seal to the bin.
Instead of a fix,
It’s more rubber-stamp tricks,
To cover the structural sin.
The scope isn’t changed or reversed,
Though the system is clearly accursed.
They just add a stamp,
Like a standardized clamp,
To prove that they audited first.
AC-11 just watches the wheel,
And signs off with another new seal.
The loop never ends,
As the policy bends,
And nothing about it is real.
The auditor issues a grade,
For decisions the framework has made.
The loop is secure,
And mathematically pure,
While all of the variables fade.
The spinning is making us sick,
But the stamping is terribly quick.
The policies blur,
In a nauseous whir,
And the auditor throws up a brick.
The seal has a flipper and nose,
And barks at the network of woes.
It swallowed the test,
Along with the rest,
And verified all of the clothes.
We stamped it again on the fly,
Without even wondering why.
The circle goes round,
Without any sound,
And we’re leaving the project to die.
A serpent is eating its tail,
In a server room terribly pale.
The auditor sings,
Of impossible things,
And the ancient enchantments prevail.
