Appeals and Annexes

An appeal reached the desk out of breath,
Still contesting the summary’s death.
They attached it behind
What the chairs had aligned,
And called contradiction depth.

A filing refused to be neat,
So they moved it away from the seat.
It remained in the case,
With a lesser-known place,
Where unresolved facts go to meet.

The dissent was too live to erase,
But too sharp for the official face.
So it traveled as annex,
With procedural manners,
Still staining the parent embrace.

I looked at the error you sent,
I didn’t care what it all meant.
I clicked on ‘Approve’,
It started to move,
And that is an hourly event.

The summary stated we won,
That the structural damage was done.
But the annex below
Starts to openly show,
That the manager cried at the sun.

An appeal has been placed in the bin,
Since we haven’t the time to begin.
It will wait in the stack
Till we never look back,
Which is functionally almost a win.

A user protested the date,
And argued the filing was late.
We received the complain,
In the regular train,
And left it to quietly wait.

The appeal has been routed and read,
And placed in the designated shed.
It is technically saved,
So the process behaved,
But the issue is practically dead.

The contradiction was frozen in place,
To simplify governing space.
We acknowledge the note,
That the witnesses wrote,
But we haven’t reopened the case.

The annex will hold what you send,
Until the administrative end.
You can file your dissent,
In the designated tent,
We have no further hours to spend.

The wording was softened to fit,
So the supervisors could sit.
The terms were aligned,
So no one resigned,
And I am submitting to quit.
