Care Event Lifecycle
A care event entered as need,
Then was normalized, routed, and keyed.
By the time it was closed,
What the person proposed
Had been trimmed to a countable seed.
It was visible only in phase,
Then it slipped from the reportable gaze.
The care did not end;
It just failed to extend
Through the archive’s preferred little maze.
The lifecycle marked itself clean,
With each state in its proper machine.
But the human request
Was still out past the crest,
Where completion is rarely seen.
A care event entered the queue,
And triggered an endless review.
The form lacked a date,
It’s a threat to the state!
Deploy the contingency crew!
The human began to express,
A feeling of profound distress.
We routed the tear
To a database tier,
And logged it as partial success.
The care event hit the first phase,
And sat in the bucket for days.
We marked it complete,
To stay on our feet,
And ignored the procedural haze.
The care event exited sight,
And filed exactly right.
The ledger was closed,
As the manual proposed,
And banished into the night.
The care was recorded too late,
A failure to properly date!
We halted the town,
And powered it down,
To audit the feelings of fate.
The routing was done for the day,
So we threw the assessment away.
The metric is fine,
It crossed the red line,
There isn’t much more I can say.
The care was successfully logged,
While the actual progress was bogged.
We counted the score,
And locked up the door,
While the humans were quietly flogged.
The event was correctly defined,
And placed in the system behind.
No action was seen,
By the routing machine,
But the paperwork surely aligned.
The margin was over by two,
A metric we cannot undo.
The system will fail,
The data turns pale,
And causes a global review.
