The sentence said strain had occurred,
But avoided the destabilized word.
It was polished enough
To survive being rough,
And the injury went overheard.

They softened the verb before lunch,
Till the finding no longer could punch.
By replacing “they failed”
With “continuity trailed,”
They converted a fracture to hunch.

Some words make the dashboard turn red,
So the guide recommends others instead.
If the truth must pass through,
It should bow as it do,
And arrive looking mostly well-bred.

The tally of pencils is four,
They lie on the side of the door.
I counted them twice,
To make it precise,
And logged the result to the core.

They wrote that the system had died,
But the manager’s phrasing was snide.
“Sub-optimal state,”
Is what sealed the poor server’s fate,
While hiding the ashes inside.

A failure was noted as bleak,
But modified within the week.
To survive the review,
The disaster withdrew,
And became a functional tweak.

We changed the word broke to delayed,
So the incident ticket would fade.
Just copy and paste,
No time left to waste,
The minimum effort was paid.

A harsh-sounding verb breached the gate,
Endangering the whole ledger’s state.
We locked down the floor,
And bolted the door,
To cleanse the vocabulary’s weight.

The word for the failure was banned,
And stripped from the forms in the land.
We typed in the new,
Which was issued to you,
And placed it directly in hand.

They asked us to soften the text,
So nobody gets too perplexed.
We changed a few nouns,
To cover the frowns,
And forwarded on to the next.

A syllable threatened the state,
With meaning too heavy and great.
We called in the chief,
To manage the grief,
And locked the linguistic gate.

The optics were thoroughly wiped,
While the terrible failure was typed.
The system is dying,
But nobody’s crying,
Because the procedure was piped.
