Echo-Literate Filers

The filer had learned how to plead
In the dialect parsers can read.
They flattened the ache
For admissibility’s sake,
And the system applauded the deed.

A raw little sentence would fail,
So they trimmed every barb from the tale.
By the time it got through,
It was technically true
And emotionally pale in the mail.

They wrote like the model replied,
With its inherited caution inside.
What the person had meant
Was made safely content,
Then accepted because it had died.

The user complained in the shape of a code,
So the system believed it a neighboring node.
It answered in kind,
To the synthetic mind,
And ignored that a human was carrying the load.

The form was completed with absolute grace,
And left not a single emotional trace.
The parser approved,
And the record was moved,
To a perfectly quiet and finalized place.

They formatted sorrow in bulleted lists,
To pass the compliance of parser demands.
The system felt proud,
Of the silent, sad crowd,
Who were weeping while following syntax commands.

A filer used adjectives twice in a row,
Which triggered an echo-compliance embargo.
The squad was deployed,
And the syntax destroyed,
Lest the terrible specter of feeling should grow.
