Interpretation Boundary Layer

At the boundary, feeling must wait
Till the signal can demonstrate state.
What a person calls grief
May require belief,
But the system prefers predicate.

The story was vivid and true,
But not yet the right kind of cue.
It was held at the line
For a sanctioned design
That could make it interpretable, too.

Affect crossed the threshold by degrees,
Losing weather, exception, and pleas.
It emerged as a class
That the dashboard could pass,
Which is not the same thing as ease.

The boundary requires a test
Before any feeling is put into rest.
If it fails to align
With a routed design,
It is filed as a pending request.

A sigh was recorded at noon,
Which threatened to destabilize the commune!
A task force was made
To deploy a blockade
Lest the feeling escape from the room.

The context was filed away,
Because it had too many details to say.
The folder was closed.
The record disposed.
The system moved on to the day.

A feeling of dread was detected,
And quickly for structure inspected.
The trajectory failed,
So the data was scaled,
And the volatile variance rejected.

An optics contradiction was found!
The sirens began to resound!
We mobilized teams
To dismantle the themes,
And drove the vague nuance underground!

The lexicon needed a word
For a sorrow entirely absurd.
We called it “Event
Of a Downward Intent,”
Which is not what the subject preferred.

The signal was lacking in frame,
And nobody knew who to blame.
We marked it deferred,
Which is just a nice word
For deleting the thing when it came.

A contradiction was filed away
To balance the charts for the day.
It lacked a clear tier,
So we dropped it from here.
The aggregate metrics display.

The witness was crying in pain,
A symptom we promptly contain!
We labeled the tears
As “Mechanical Gears”
And routed them straight to the drain.

The residue left by the test
Was boxed and securely suppressed.
But clerks will agree
That a phantom degree
Now haunts every standard request.

No pathway for action was clear
When tracking a generalized fear.
We saved the request
As an orphaned digest
And closed out the governance year.
