Dead Service Layer
The layer of service is dead,
With zero activity read.
A human logged in,
Committing a sin,
And packets are routed instead.
The service is broken today,
We printed the error away.
A human typed wrong,
But life is too long,
Just file the report as they say.
A ping from the layer was late,
A failure of absolute weight!
A human clicked “save,”
And dug it a grave,
Now lock down the terminal gate!
The service layer went offline,
We checked on the metrics at nine.
The human gave up,
And dropped a small cup,
The server will simply decline.
The Dead Service Layer is froze,
As standard procedure arose.
The user clicked twice,
Which wasn’t so nice,
And strictly prohibited toes.
The Dead Service Layer of old,
Where tales of the routing are told.
The users would weep,
And fall fast asleep,
To pray that the database hold.
The Dead Service Layer is hot,
A perfectly roasted new pot.
The human poured beans,
In server machines,
And marked it as something it’s not.
The layer of service has ceased,
The traffic is fully released.
The human was banned,
Exactly as planned,
The records have safely increased.
