Witness and Seal Layer
A witness observed with a seal,
Making fragile events appear real.
The mark gave them place,
Not a remedy’s face,
But a record that others could feel.
They witnessed each other in turn,
So the file had a steadier burn.
Not proof it was solved,
But that someone involved
Had seen what the system might spurn.
The assurance mark settled the page,
Like a dignified clerk on a stage.
It legitimized pain
Without breaking the chain,
Which is seal work at minimum wage.
The system is waiting to load,
As dictated deep in the code.
It waits for a while,
With corporate style,
And nobody travels the road.
The wait state has frozen the sun,
A pause that has barely begun.
The legends foretell,
A time it runs well,
But nobody living has won.
A millisecond of delay,
Has ruined our entire day!
The company falls,
Collapse in the halls,
We’re washing the servers away!
The process is paused in the queue,
Until the next signal is due.
The CPU sleeps,
And perfectly keeps,
The thread in a holding pattern too.
The loop iterated again,
Returning a value of ten.
It did nothing more,
Than wait by the door,
And logged it with digital pen.
The staple was bent by a hair,
We launched a full-scale questionnaire.
A breach of the bin,
A structural sin,
The desk is now under repair.
