Support Structure for Prior Failure Established
A temporary slip in the queue,
Grew a desk and a manager too.
The failure remains,
Amidst all the gains,
With paperwork entirely new.
To fix the original flaw,
Means breaking the continuity law.
The support staff would leave,
And everyone grieve,
The removal of such a great draw.
We trained it to sit in the hall,
And answer a standardized call.
The error is tamed,
Officially named,
And mounted right there on the wall.
A ritual sweeps up the dust,
To polish the structural rust.
The failure is dear,
Appearing each year,
Supported by infinite trust.
The scaffolding carries the weight, Of errors we failed to abate. The ritual sweep, Allows us to sleep, While logging the failures of state.
