This closure became valid not
By evidence—weather it got.
The atmosphere grew
Too complete to pursue
Contradiction without seeming hot.

No decisive repair had occurred.
The case moved to closure. Absurd—
But officially: adequate
Handling. The plaid
Of atmosphere more than the word.

High acknowledgment density:
Repeated witness with intensity,
Communal fatigue,
No breach’s intrigue
Large enough to embarrass continuity.

Naming the unresolved burden began
To register: not fidelity’s plan—
But a breach of tone.
The issue, alone,
Was harder to name than to scan.

“Nothing changed enough to close.
The room changed enough to suppose
That argument was
Against the cause
Of courtesy.” The margin prose.

Each element permissible.
The distortion: inimissible
In isolation—

As genuine. The counterfeit: same.

“Acknowledgment complete—” attractive,
But: “repair partial.”
“Ceremonially martial,
Materially unresolved.” Active.

The institution found: unresolved
Things become livable, dissolved
Into beside—
Once embossed, certified.
Not by solving terrain. Just resolved.
