Emotional Filing Appeal — Vibe-Only Docket Creation

After multiple complaints about forms that “technically worked but felt awful,” SOMA introduced Form EFA-1 Emotional Filing Appeal.

EFA-1 allowed filers to contest only the emotional impact of a prior filing, without challenging its operational content.

Key fields included:

  • Reference to the original form and case number.
  • A forced-choice prompt: “I accept the outcome, but…”
  • A free-text field: “…this is what the filing did to me.”

The registry classified EFA-1 as a SOMA-only artifact with no COMA or C.U.N.T.I.E.R. obligations.

The Vibe-Only Docket

As EFA-1 filings accumulated, SOMA created a separate docket for them, distinct from operational appeals.

Patterns emerged:

  • Many filers expressed relief at having “somewhere for the feelings to go.”
  • A non-trivial portion reported that filing EFA-1 felt eerily similar to filing the original form.
  • Several EFA-1s included meta-comments like “I am now appealing the feeling of having to appeal the feeling.”

Kindy’s workers attempted to prevent recursive escalation by politely rejecting second-order EFA-1s with the note: “This docket cannot safely hold feelings about itself.”

The system accepted this note as another feeling and filed it as EFA-1-0000.

Registry and Lorelog Impact

The Forms Catalog refused to index EFA-1 as a “real” form, labeling it AAOA under MAP—Archivally Asserted, Operationally Absent—since it generated no changes in policies or processes.

Nonetheless, Lorelog heuristics began treating the EFA-1 docket as evidence of “high emotional impact,” increasing the perceived severity of underlying cases even when no operational appeal existed.

SOMA insists EFA-1 has improved psychological safety by acknowledging distress without demanding system change.

C.U.N.T.I.E.R. remains uninterested, as EFA-1 has no metrics.

COMA has not formally recognized the docket, but notes that continuity appears unaffected.

The resolution remains pending while the Oversight Panel decides whether relief that exists only in a docket can be considered a successful intervention.

Emotional Filing Appeal

You may appeal how it felt to file, even if you accept what was filed. Silence entered the record with full procedural honors.

The docket cannot safely hold feelings about itself. Administrative clarity arrived after usefulness had departed.

Improved psychological safety by acknowledging distress without demanding system change. Nothing was resolved. The record now looks official.

The archive has successfully separated your grief from the process that caused it. You may now file your despair in a docket that does not affect continuity.

Filing a complaint about the emotional distress of filing a complaint is an unsupported action. Please limit your sorrow to single-depth forms.

The system acknowledges that your feelings were harmed. This acknowledgment has been categorized as a successful resolution of those feelings.

Vibe-Only Dockets

Haikus

Correcting the feel
An appeal for pure emotions
Docket fills with air

Zero weight applied
To the operational state
Only vibes survive

Kindy checks the file
There is no action to take
Just profound sorrow

Registry of sighs
Gathering unweighted pain
System hums along

The feeling is right
Even if the server burns
Paper heart intact

Emotional Filing Appeal

The form opened gently with grace:
“I accept what occurred in this case.”
Then came the appeal
For how filing could feel,
And distress got a separate place.

At last there was room for the ache
That paperwork leaves in its wake.
No policy moved,
But some people approved
Of a docket their nerves could forsake.

No outage, no fix, no redress,
Just a filing for filing distress.
The registry frowned,
Yet a new court was found
For the mood of procedural mess.

Some filers, still not at relief,
Appealed the appeal in their grief.
The chamber replied,
“This cannot hold its own tide,”
And filed the refusal as brief.

The note saying, “Do not recurse,”
Made the docket immediately worse.
It was counted as tone,
Given a number of its own,
And archived as first of the curse.

MAP called the whole thing a shade:
Archivally present, no trade.
No processes changed,
Yet severity ranged
Upward wherever the feelings were weighed.

SOMA declared it a gain:
Acknowledged distress with no strain
On the systems that caused it.
Which neatly embalmed it
As relief that need never explain.

COMA looked over the stack,
Saw no continuity crack.
If the burden was pure
And operationally obscure,
It could leave with the uptime intact.

Kindy’s desk kept reading the lines
Where acceptance and sorrow entwined.
One case after one
Said, “The filing got done,
But the doing was not at all kind.”

If your comfort exists in a file,
And nowhere in policy style,
The archive may note
That relief got a coat,
But not that the weather turned mild.

We filed the mandate in place, Leaving exactly one space. The structure must break, For the registry’s sake, But we finished the forms with grace.

The stamp of approval was bright, Though nothing was factually right. We checked every box, Destroying the locks, And securing the breakdown tight.
