At that point the problem ceased to be visual and became doctrinal.

    None of the counterfeit stamps claimed to be Bricky in a literal sense. They claimed his semantic authority: the right to compress unresolved classification into a box that looked final enough to carry through a workflow. Some offices preferred these derivative stamps because they were gentler, faster, and more emotionally legible than DOGE’s approved set. Standards objected that this amounted to unauthorized provenance laundering. Bricky objected that the kerning was bad.
