Stackdodge
🧠 Biography
Stackdodge manifested during the third consecutive wipe on Gruul the Dragonkiller when someone insisted dodge-stacking was viable again in Phase 2. Their origin is deeply tied to Microsoft’s internal kernel testing team, latency denial, and a severe misunderstanding of diminishing returns. Born of high IQ and low situational awareness, Stackdodge is not malicious — just absolutely convinced they’re right. They carry a spreadsheet as a shield and believe patch notes are optional reading.
🪪 Credentials
- Title Senior Performance Architect of Null Optimizations
- Certifications Certified Tinker™, Heroic Theorycrafter, +5% Tooltip Reader
- Alignment Lawful Misguided
- Favorite Stat Dodge Rating (still)
💡 Fun Facts
- Has never used a simulator, but insists on quoting parse data from memory.
- Blamed a group wipe on “unexpected RNG” for 7 consecutive pulls.
- Once hardcoded a kernel flag named
ENABLE_DIVINE_SHIELD. - Wears a helm with no sockets “for aesthetic reasons.”
📎 Usage Notes
Deploy Stackdodge when:
- You need to pretend performance tuning is happening.
- You require confident explanations for completely unrelated issues.
- You want to trigger a revert request within 24 hours. Not recommended for production, testing, or combat scenarios.
🧩 Addendum: Known Phrases
“I read something on Elitist Jerks.” “This tooltip is outdated, trust me.” “It’s not me, it’s the log parser.” “It worked on the PTR.” “The math checks out, I swear.” “Technically, I didn’t pull aggro.”
Aphorisms
Stackdodge
The math checks out, I swear. Relief remained outside scope.
Math checks out, he swears, Optimization is flawed, Heroic wipe comes. Relevance expired before processing resumed.
Quotes parse data from memory. The system kept the ritual and misplaced the function.
The latency was mathematically optimal; therefore, the total system wipe has been officially classified as a performance success.
He hardcoded the divine shield flag directly into the kernel. The server is now completely immune to all incoming traffic.
The spreadsheet proves our theorycrafting was numerically superior to the database that just collapsed.

Flags I do not know \nCompiling with pure hubris \nMemory will fault
The wipe was heroic \nLogic fails the simplest test \nUI took the blame
Shaving nanoseconds \nBut the query takes an hour \nPriorities skewed
Limerick Log
Stackdodge
“The math checks out, I swear,” he said,
While the raid group lay utterly dead.
His dodge was all stacked,
His logic half-cracked,
And the tooltip was hopelessly misread.
He blamed seven wipes straight on RNG,
With the confidence born of a degree
In Null Optimizations.
His certifications:
“Heroic Theorycrafter.” (Free.)
He hardcoded ENABLE_DIVINE_SHIELD—
A kernel flag no test had revealed.
The production collapsed,
The revert relapsed,
And the flag was forever repealed.
“I read something on Elitist Jerks,”
He’d say, with the smuggest of smirks.
The source was from ’07,
The meta since heaven
Knows when—but the reference still lurks.
His spreadsheet’s his shield and his sword,
Each formula perfectly stored.
But the sim never ran,
The parse data began
And ended in memory, ignored.
“This tooltip is outdated, trust me.”
(The tooltip was current. Trustfully.)
He quoted from parse
Data lodged in his arse—
I mean memory—quite gustfully.
“Technically, I didn’t pull aggro,”
He said, post-wipe, licking his elbow.
The boss turned and cleaved,
The tank was aggrieved,
And the combat log burned a sad hello.
He wore a helm with no sockets at all—
“For aesthetic reasons,” his call.
No gems, no enchant,
Just a beautiful slant,
And the DPS continued to fall.
Deploy him when tuning’s pretend
And you need confident talk to no end.
He’ll explain every fault
With a confident vault
Of bullshit. Then trigger a revert. Blend.
So if the math doesn’t check out at all
And the optimization takes a fall,
That’s Stackdodge’s creed:
Where the theory takes the lead,
And the wipe was the RNG’s call.
