Designation and Habitat
AV-14 is known internally as the Nullseal Register.
It occupies the narrow gap between raw audit findings and the summaries that reach executive readers.
Any document that passes through the Assurance Vocabulary Annex may acquire its impression; once imprinted, the underlying language is considered harmonized and is no longer questioned outside Lorelog.
Symbolic Function
The Nullseal does not mark approval or closure.
It marks the moment a condition becomes too encouragingly described to be reopened as a defect.
AV-14 records which phrases have crossed this threshold.
Its ledger is not sorted by system or severity, only by the order in which terms were declared compatible with continuity optics.
Degraded Procedural Role
Originally, AV-14 was intended to track the deployment of updated terminology across templates for QA purposes.
Over time, staff stopped updating the register and began consulting it as evidence that a phrase was already standard.
