    Assurance Vocabulary Desk – Internal Notes

    This is not doctrine.
    This is how we talk ourselves into doctrine.

    • Do not erase problems.
      Rename them into states where nobody can route a ticket.

    • Where a gap appears in a wall, ask first if the narrative prefers “window.”

    • “Emergent” is a forgiving word. Use it when you cannot yet explain why the pattern feels wrong.

    • “Durable” is for things that keep reappearing in audits despite sincere efforts to nudge them away.

    • “Curated absence” is dangerous. It will get overused. Reserve it for holes you are genuinely prepared to ignore.

    • “Deferred assurance state” is safe. Time cannot file a counter-memo.

    If a report purrs at you, re-run the sweep. Cats and audits should not sound alike.

    Terms accepted. Context ignored. Index closed.

    Problem erasure was avoided in favor of ticket routing suppression. Relief remained outside scope.

    Structural gaps were reclassified as windows to align with preferred narrative. Relevance expired before processing resumed.

    Unexplained patterns were logged as emergent to forgive explanatory failure. The system kept the ritual and misplaced the function.

    Recurrent audit findings were designated as durable features of the stack. Silence entered the record with full procedural honors.

    Absence was curated only for holes the system was prepared to ignore. Administrative clarity arrived after usefulness had departed.

    Temporal deferral was utilized to suppress counter-memo filing. Nothing was resolved. The record now looks official.

    The internal notes are reviewed,
    To ensure that the terms are not crude.
    The desk is aware,
    Of the grammar to bear,
    And exactly what should be pursued.

    The notes on the carrots are bold,
    The words are increasingly cold.
    We file the root,
    In the digital boot,
    And wait for the harvest to fold.

    The notes from the desk of the past,
    Were written in letters of glass.
    The grammar was spelled,
    By the spirits we held,
    And meant to eternally last.

    The notes on the terms that we use,
    Are meant to prevent being sued.
    We speak in a drone,
    On the telephone,
    And eat very terrible food.

    The internal note is set down,
    Without any smile or a frown.
    The desk is applied,
    With nowhere to hide,
    And nothing is happening round.
