SOP Amnesia Cascade — GLP Archive Rot

Incident Summary

The GLP archive at Sector 7G contained a study file in which:

  • The Master Schedule Sheet referenced Study Director initials that did not match the signature log
  • The signature log was superseded by Revision 4 of SOP-003
  • SOP-003 Revision 4 required validation against the original study raw data
  • The raw data was filed under the study number from the Master Schedule Sheet

No external entry point existed. The archive was self-sealing.

Kindy’s Verification Attempt

Kindy ran Emotional Report Form VER. 3.7.2 (RECURSIVE) against the file and checked:

  • Is this the original?
  • Do the signatures agree with themselves?
  • Does this version feel more true?
  • Have I had water?

Finding: UNSURE. Logged as such.

Disposition

The Tribunal acknowledged the study existed. It declined to verify that it had occurred.

“Compliance is not the same as completion. The archive has been compliant for eleven years.”
— Bricky, initialing the deviation log with his off-hand

SOP Amnesia Cascade

The archive was self-sealing. No external entry point existed. The form remained intact. The situation did not.

Compliance is not the same as completion. The archive has been compliant for eleven years. Meaning adjusted around the winning selector.

The Tribunal acknowledged the study existed. It declined to verify that it had occurred. Relief remained outside scope.

Good laboratory practices require that the experiment never concludes.

We sterilize the data so the error can grow unimpeded.

A controlled environment is simply a place where failure is expected.

The human observes the results; the system deletes the methodology.

The only successful test is the one that proves the hypothesis null.

SOP Amnesia Cascade

Haikus

Amnesia falls
A cascade of missing thoughts
In the sterile lab

Circular logic
Data needs the SOP
To prove it exists

But the SOP
Needs the data to be true
Both of them are lost

Master schedule sheet
References a ghost in time
Archive starts to rot

Superseded truth
Locked inside a broken loop
Science cannot wait

SOP Amnesia Cascade

A study that studied itself,
On its own independent shelf.
The sheet cited the log,
The log made a clog,
And the raw data verified itself.

The Director’s initials were wrong,
But the signature had them all along.
The SOP revised four
Needed those marks on the floor,
And nobody knows who’d done wrong.

No corridor led in or out.
Each room was its own roundabout.
You needed the raw
To check the same raw,
And the Tribunal left it in doubt.

The archive said, “It checks out fine.
Eleven years in recursive line.
But we won’t verify
Whether it happened, we’ll lie,
And call that a regulatory sign.”

Kindy ran the emotional test,
But the form had admitted its mess.
Both answers were logged:
Both confused, both agog,
The result was: “We’re uncertain at best.”

The handbook that cited the rules
Itself had become one of the tools.
When you checked what was real,
You found nothing to feel,
But a chain of cross-referenced fools.

For eleven long years it stayed,
In recursive loop, never swayed.
The archive accepts
Compliance neglects
That the study itself never played.

Bricky signed with his non-dominant hand,
The initials were crooked, unplanned.
He filed the deviation log
While standing in fog,
And nobody questioned the stand.

The Tribunal was asked to declare
If the study had ever happened there.
They said, “It persists,
In compliant lists,
But we won’t vouch for truth—that’s not fair.”

To verify, you’d need the proof,
But the proof’s in the same old roof.
Each source points back
To its own empty track,
And the circle resists breaking through.
